We're Back & On Fire!

Welcome back from a memorable Summer!
Yesterday in Children's Chapel we discussed our local fires.

The sharing game was:
If you could choose 1 thing to take what would it be?
We excluded family and pets -they were all autimatically on each child's list.

I tried my best not to over-steer the children but I did mention that saving something irreplacable might be nice...

We had many: favorite dolls and stuffed toys, some kids who would grab their money, a few pictures and pieces of art.

In each chapel there was a child that needed more time.
They each wound up sharing their item last.

9 AM chapel - The child decided to save his baptism candle.

11:15 AM - This little girl would save her special picture of her sister's baptism.

I kid you not.
These kids are amazing -they really get 'it.'
I can't wait to continue learning from them this year!
