THE FEAST OF ST. FRANCIS FAMILY EUCHARIST
Every year we celebrate the life of this inspiring saint, lover of creation, patron saint of animals, inspiring love for God, simplicity of lifestyle, and radical giving. This year it is a little different! We invite you to bring your beloved animals and pets to the 9 a.m. service on Sunday, Oct. 4, to sit outside on the quad lawn and enjoy the regular service and sermon on TV screens, in community in the beauty of outdoors. Communion will be received outdoors as well, followed by the blessing of your animals and pets at the end. What a wonderful way to start the stewardship season and celebrate St. Francis! Children will be invited to children’s chapel as usual. All the CYF staff will be there to celebrate with you.
